RIOT experienced exponential growth in a short period of time, being recognised in the CRN Fast50 for a number of years as a leader in cyber security, critical infrastructure and managed IT services. Their old branding was an afterthought that hadn’t kept up and did not reflect the bold personality, energy and no-nonsense attitude their clients loved.
The new brand brings this RIOT attitude to life through bold and simple typography, strong colour palette, and personal hand drawn elements. It’s a brand that now has an edge, that can be pared back for corporate appeal, or brought to life to match the RIOT experience clients will receive.
Known as Australia’s peak body representing professional landscape designers, the Landscape Design Institute (previously known as Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers) needed to reinvigorate their stagnant brand to increase awareness and drive memberships.
We were engaged to give the new name its own identity, shortened to LDI, and reposition their place in the market with the tagline “Designed for Growth”, that reflected both the industry and the need for members to grow their practices and networks.
Along with redefining their membership structure to better align with members professional qualifications and capabilities, a modern yet approachable brand identity was created along with a beautiful story delivered through artistic and well-composed videography.
Through a number of creative execution strategies, this further established their position as a leading national design association that supports and represents their members’ needs and to foster a new level of influence in the market.

The opulent nature of their materials, the commitment to quality and service to their customers meant they wanted to leverage their brand in a way that defined this more accurately.
With craftsmanship at the forefront of their success, it was important that we understood how this was delivered from ideation right through to customer service and represented both visually and through a clearly defined brand position.
